Medicon is an online medical conference resource specifically created for medical professionals.
Medicon provides access to:
- Over 3,700 conferences worldwide
- Detailed information about each conference
- To search for a conference simply type in a keyword(s) such as the conference name, location, date or even venue. The Advanced Search facility allows you to be more specific.
From your presented list you can view the information or even visit the conference website review the program and register. By adding your key conferences to your Watchlist, they will be displayed every time you log in and you will be kept updated with regular emails of any changes to that conference.
Below are the most Frequently Asked Questions and some helpful advice to make the most out of Medicon. If you still don’t have an answer feel free to contact us and we’ll respond as soon as possible.
Q: How do I register?
A: Click on “New to Medicon Online” and complete the registration information. Make sure to fill in all the mandatory fields which have an asterisk, and select your own username and password. You must include a valid email address as, once completed and sent, you will receive an email with a verification link to access the features of Medicon.
The next time you log in, all you have to do is click on the Login button or “Already Registered” and insert your username and password.
Q: How do I search for a conference?
A: There are 2 ways to search for a conference:
Simple Search: Type in the name of the conference, an acronym, city or a single word and a list of options will be presented.
Advanced Search: In advanced search, you can be more specific and choose by region, country, and specialty or during set dates.
Q: Will the information I give when registering be used for commercial purposes?
A: All the information you give such as name, surname, email address, and interests will not be passed on to any person, company or organisation without your express approval.
You may opt out of receiving regular email updates at any time by clicking on the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. These monthly emails simply provide updates for any conferences you have added to your Watchlist or to communicate on any updates or issues with Medicon.
Your phone details may be required to verify your status as a medical practitioner and, through that, be provided with broader access including sponsor’s patient and other product support materials, including product samples. When requesting such support your contact details will be provided in order to enable delivery of those materials.

Q: I have some questions regarding a specific conference? What do I do?
A: Contact the organisers directly if they have provided contact details on the Conference page.
Q: What is a Watchlist?
A: A Watchlist is your personal list of conferences that interest you. By adding selected conferences to your Watchlist, they will be presented to you each time you log in and any changes to the program/agenda of the meeting will be automatically notified to you by email.
You can easily remove any conferences from your Watchlist, and those that have already occurred will no longer appear on the list.
